Once a semester, undergraduate students are required to meet with an advisor in the Computer Science Department. Students should make [https://webapps.cs.umd.edu/ugrad/login.php?svc=%2Fugrad%2Fadvising%2Fschedule.php appointments] online. During these appointments, advisors will help ensure that you have met CS and University [http://www.gened.umd.edu/for-students/student_gened.html General Education] requirements.

You are welcome to make an appointment with an advisor in the Undergraduate Office at any time during the year to discuss your academic performance, or other issues. If matters are pressing, walk into the advising office and ask to speak with advisor. Walk-in hours are posted on the main homepage calendar. Walk-in advising hours are <u><strong>not</strong></u> available during mandatory advising.
